Merry Christmas

In case you didn't get a card....
Or in case you got a card, but it was in an undesirable shape
Because these envelopes were stuffed, stamped, and sealed
by my own personal "sweat shop"
though I only got a small side picture of the hardest worker, Mikey

I want to wish you a Merry Christmas:
With our Christmas card, we had a little "Bingo Game" on the back:

Here is what the "letter" had printed on it:

We would like to invite you to play a game of BINGO with us as we “call” out what we have been up to in 2012:

  • The most important event that happened in our family this year was the arrival of Evelyn Nae on June 27th. Evelyn is a happy baby that is very social. She is adored by her brothers and all that meet her (If you can't tell, that takes space B-1)
  • Mikey turned 8 this year. He continues to be a big help to his parents and brothers. He has gotten his Dark Blue Belt in Karate (Hapkido, to be exact). He loves math and science and anything with facts (O-5)
  • Roger turned 7. He is very sensitive and loving to his family and friends. He, too, got his Dark Blue Belt – the first in the “Black Belt Series”. He loves to read and will stay awake many hours reading his favorite books (G-4)
  • William is 5. He had a busy year. He started reading and is reading well past a 2nd grade reading level. He participated in softball and Safety Town this summer. William is playful and loves to tease his brothers. He brings our lives so much joy (B-3)
  • Grant turned 4 this year. He has loved becoming an older brother. He loves Evelyn and will always be found near her. Four year-olds are always fun, but Grant is especially entertaining. He loves balls and being a Super Hero. He also loves to draw (O-1)
  • Todd fell in love with another woman...well, girl. When he isn't holding Evelyn or wrestling with the boys, he spends his time serving in the High Council at church and working as Chief Resident of his Emergency Residency Program. He only has 6 more months of Residency left (N-2)
  • We went to Disneyland in January (B-4)
  • While in California we went to the beach (I-1)
  • Living in Ohio, we got politically involved...& bombarded (G-2)
  • Evelyn has spent a lot of time in doctor appointments and in the hospital. She is getting stronger each day and never complains (except when she's doing her “exercises”) (I-4)
  • Grandma Patti ended up spending a month with us this summer (O-2)
  • Mikey was baptized (mormon.org) on his 8th birthday (I-3)
  • We went to Utah as a family in January - Mikey and Roger went for 2 weeks in May - Mikey, Roger, and William went for 2 weeks in August (G-5)
  • Evee was diagnosed with the M-CM Syndrome. For more info go to m-cm.net (O-4)
  • Mikey joined the Cub Scout program. In June he had a week long day camp. Todd volunteered for the entire week and the other 3 boys were also able to participate (N-1)
  • We continued homeschooling this year, something we all love (I-2)
  • Mikey and Roger participated in a local swim team this summer (G-3)
  • Their time at swim team helped Mikey and Roger prepare to compete in 2 kid triathlons (N-5)
  • “Grandma Love” - Loni's Grandma – visited us in Ohio (N-4)

If you have been keeping track, you have now reached “BINGO”. But, as you may know, my philosophy is “Go Big or Go Home”, so let's get a Blackout:

  • Mikey, Roger, and William have continued with their Karate (Hapkido) classes (B-5)
  • All 4 boys participated in soccer – this meant that during the season our Saturdays were filled with going to 4 soccer games (G-1)
  • Grant broke his collar bone (O-3)
  • Loni spent half the year pregnant. She now spends her time going to Evelyn's doctor appointments, cooking and cleaning, being a mother to 5 children, and teaching Sunday School to 12-14 year-olds. In her free time she is back at running, playing soccer, and blogging (oneilies.blogspot.com) (I-2)

Merry Christmas!
