December Visitors

The month of December brought us many family members. It started off with a visit from my mom and here boyfriend Brian. Though they were here for only a couple of days, we had a blast...and wore them out. Our activities included going to swim lessons, the movie Tangled, the dentist, my soccer game, our own little Christmas, and playing together along with Grandma reading story after story after story.

The 18th of December Todd's parents, Mike and Eve, and his brother Brett and sister Katy came to visit us. They got here just in time for us to have their traditional Christmas breakfast of Bagel and smoked salmon - I had jam on mine instead.

Then we went to the local theater where they were playing Joseph and his Technicolor Dream Coat. I had found a video of this play (starring Donny Osmond) and watched it with the kids in preparing them to watch the play. The boys loved the music and the story. They were excited to go the play. We had front row seats, which normally would've been too close, but it was perfect for the kids. They really enjoyed the performance, bouncing in their seats to the music and Mikey whispering something about the play.

That evening we had our ward Christmas party, Todd's family was kind enough to join us. There was a dinner and a show- which the show was provided by the Primary kids. Mikey Roger and William played the parts of the Three Wise Men.

The boys also got to open gifts from Grampy and Grandma and their aunts and uncles.
We also got to have all of my three sisters- Lyndee, LeNae, and Lana-, and Lyndee's husband Nathan, and my dad to join us for Christmas. More on our time with them later.
