Who can compete with Uncle Nathan?That was Todd's question after telling him of the many adventures that we had with Nathan while visiting. I am just so grateful that my sister got a guy that deserves her.
Nathan has a lot of energy and is excited about life. He loves kids, and my kids adore him. Even though he's working full-time, we took the kids to the park one evening. Now, I just go to the park, find a bench, and try to make sure that no one tries to kidnap my kids.Nathan went up and beyond that. Not only did he bring many balls, which he and the kids played with, but he also brought a.........kite. Talk about Awesome in the book of Kids!
The kids chased the kite for hours! Grant took a big liking to Nathan and became his shadow. He ran where Nathan ran, sat where Nathan sat.
The next day, while Nathan was at work, we were looking through Lyndee's pictures. Every time there was a picture of Nathan, Grant would start giggling. He then pointed to the picture and said, "Naa-an". This is huge for this kid. He does not say much more than his growling, grunting, screaming, and "I did it".Then Nathan noticed poor Roger sitting by himself doing his breathing treatment for his asthma. Nathan pulled out his own nebulizer, used for his own asthma, and kept Roger company, making him feel supported.
